Building an AI-powered partnership platform MVP in 12 weeks

The project

Partner Utopia, now Paai, set out to solve a ubiquitous challenge in partnership management: automating the strategy and onboarding process for new partnerships. Drawing on decades of collective experience, the founders understood the industry’s pain points and had a practical plan to solve them. What they didn’t have was a product, and a major industry conference was just 12 weeks away.

The challenges

• Twelve weeks, zero product. The company needed a fully functional minimum viable product built from the ground up: multiple trained AI models, a polished user interface, and rock-solid performance, all production-ready before the conference.
• No internal AI muscle. The founders didn’t have the internal resources or AI expertise to build it alone.
• A training data shortage. The team’s expertise was deep but experiential, not the structured, machine-readable data AI models require. Training datasets had to be generated and annotated before model development could even begin, intensifying the time pressure.

The solution

Partner Utopia needed MVP development from a partner with proven AI capability, the agility to move fast, and the technical depth to ship production-ready software in three months. The results
