Winmill’s first employee still works here. So does the CEO who joined in 1996. Seven of the eleven people below have spent more than twenty years building this company.
Kevin Kilgore
President and CEOKevin joined Winmill in 1996 as Director of Professional Services, became Chief Operating Officer in 2003, President in 2012, and CEO in April 2017. Working closely with the Board of Directors, he sets the strategic direction of the company, focusing on vendor relationships, competitive advantage, and potential acquisitions and other corporate actions. Before Winmill, Kevin was a Manager at Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, working in financial services and insurance. He holds a BS in Engineering from Cornell University.
Erik Decker
Chief Information Security OfficerErik built Winmill’s Data Center and Cloud Services practice, which remains one of the company’s fast-growing divisions, and transformed it from traditional data center hosting to cloud hosting and DevOps. He joined Winmill in 1999 directly from Rutgers University, where he earned a BS in Bio-Chemical Engineering. Erik holds the CISSP and CISA certifications along with many vendor certifications, including Microsoft and Cisco.
Grisel Marquez
Vice President of FinanceGrisel has been with Winmill for 25 years and leads the financial planning and accounting teams. She has extensive experience managing cross-functional teams, implementing and overseeing complex projects, and administering multi-million-dollar budgets. Grisel earned a BS in Business Administration and Finance from Fordham University.
Kevin Sawyer
Director of Professional ServicesKevin is a senior technical manager responsible for many of Winmill’s most challenging and highly visible projects, and all of Winmill’s professional consultants report to him. He is the company’s Product Manager for eMembership. Before joining Winmill in 1997, Kevin was a consultant at Alltel, a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, and a Senior Analyst at Exxon. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University.
Michael Mariniello
Director of Quality AssuranceMike has over 25 years of experience in project management, software quality assurance, and business analysis. He joined Winmill in 1997 and has worked with clients across industries including multinational banks, Big Five accounting firms, local and national unions, Taft-Hartley benefit funds, and airlines. He graduated from Boston College with a BA in Education and also studied at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Ben DiMolfetta
Director of Security and Risk Management, Application SecurityBen was the first employee hired by Winmill in 1994. He is responsible for designing and implementing secure Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and DevSecOps strategies, and he manages the Penetration Testing Services team, which delivers assessments for devices, web applications, mobile applications, networks, and cloud infrastructure. Ben is a certified PMP and CTT+, a graduate of Binghamton University with a BS in Computer Science/Information Science, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Georgia Institute of Technology.
Peter Cunningham
PMO DirectorPeter oversees the project management team, establishing and enforcing rigorous standards of excellence in project delivery. During more than 20 years at Winmill, he has managed several large, multi-year implementations of new Taft-Hartley fund management systems and specialized in DNN content management solutions. Peter graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Computer Science.
David Stone
Director of SalesDavid has extensive experience leading sales organizations in cybersecurity and enterprise technology, with expertise in application security and penetration testing services. He played a key role in scaling Winmill’s labor union management product, eMembership, growing the customer base from 8 to more than 55 organizations across North America. His leadership spans sales strategy, product development, customer success, and enablement. David holds a BS in Finance from Kean University.
Drew Mebane
Director of Demand GenerationDrew leads marketing strategy for the eMembership and Winmill Software divisions. Since joining in 2023, he has focused on driving qualified pipeline for enterprise IT services and implementing AI-driven automation that improved conversion rates and reduced acquisition costs. Before Winmill, Drew led demand generation at ProPricer and AskNicely. He holds an MA in English from Southeast Missouri State University, a graduate certificate in AI Strategy from Cornell University, and multiple marketing certifications.
Eddie Hudson
Director of Emerging TechnologyEddie joined Winmill when the company acquired Divelement, which he co-founded and led as CEO. He specializes in Microsoft Azure, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, with technical depth that extends into software development and cloud architecture. Eddie built his career as a software developer before founding Divelement, and he works closely with clients to translate business visions into practical technical solutions.
Abigail Caldwell
Director of Human ResourcesAbigail brings over a decade of strategic and operational leadership in human resources, talent, and people operations, designing scalable people strategies aligned with business objectives at technology companies including NTT DATA, vFairs, Flux7, and Divelement. At Winmill she is scaling the human resources function, strengthening the culture of excellence, and building the capabilities that help Winmill’s people deliver for clients.
