 Ensuring the administrative efficiency of a world-class medical facility such as the Hershey Medical Center ultimately means saving lives. That's why when Hershey's CIO decided to revolutionize the accounting system for the hospital, he turned to expert developers at WinMill Software to provide
the crucial missing Web component that would make the system work. Hershey needed an interface to resolve purchase card transactions delivered from its bank to the new Lawson accounting software on a daily and monthly basis. In addition to the accuracy and security requirements, HMC was going to implement the new system in an unprecedented three months!
 WinMill went to work without delay, creating a secure database and interfaces for both the bank files and Lawson, and a Web site that would allow department personnel to review only the data specific to their
assigned cost centers. WinMill engineers went on site to make sure that HMC went live on schedule with a performance-tuned site that supports over 5,000 card holders in 800 cost centers throughout the hospital network.
