Challenge

This client needed an enterprise portfolio management system to evaluate, prioritize, approve, manage and monitor their IT investments.

Solution

The bank chose Clarity as their centralized Project Portfolio Management system, and partnered with WinMill to implement the application. WinMill managed the design, development, configuration and deployment of Project Management, Resource Management, Financial Management and Time Management.

Highlights

WinMill provided the functional and technical solution architects for this project. We were responsible for server setup, installation of all environments, functional and technical architecture and design, and also design and development of all custom interfaces.

One of the main achievements of this project was the day-one implementation of fully enabled Financials. Unlike other projects that have the luxury of implementing Financials in a subsequent phase, this project could not go live without them.

This was also one of the first Clarity projects to go live with Business Objects. WinMill worked closely with the client and CA to work out the kinks in the integration/configuration, delivering a highly effective Business Objects reporting environment.
