Strategic Planning

During a Strategic Planning engagement we assess the extent to which your current applications meet (or do not meet) your operational requirements. We assess the effectiveness of computer hardware, software and operating systems , including user workstations and servers. We also typically perform a high-level security audit of your computer network.

To perform this work we conduct interviews with key personnel and senior managers/directors. Our interviews take into account our experience in your industry, so that we can hone in quickly on areas of potential deficiency or risk.

Our deliverable for a Strategic Planning engagement typically includes:

  • Requirements Definition. A broad identification of the primary operational requirements of your organization, which can be used for system enhancements or as the basis for an RFP for systems replacement.
  • Technology Assessment. A high-level evaluation of the long-term efficacy of your existing computer systems (based on technology platform, functionality and extensibility).
