WinMill Software, Inc., a technology services company based in New York City, is seeking to hire a Senior Sales Manager to sell hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Check Point and IBM and HP. This is a full-time, direct sales position.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling Security & Infrastructure hardware, software and consulting services. The main focus of this position is to bring in new clients and business.
- Qualified candidates must be energetic and focused with relentless motivation to sell and strong desire to succeed.
- Identify and qualify legitimate sales leads and opportunities and build a sales pipeline of well-qualified sales opportunities.
- This position will include defining client needs through product knowledge and positioning.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of direct selling experience with products from one or more of the following vendors: Cisco, Check Point, IBM, HP.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in one or more of the following technologies: Security, Switching, Routing, Data Storage, Servers, IP Telephony.
- Minimum of 2 years selling security and/or infrastructure related consulting services.
- Strong working knowledge of the technologies being sold. Candidate must be able to help clients design solutions.
- Proven track record of developing new business, lead prospecting and closing deals.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Solid problem solving capabilities.
- Technical background a plus.
